Raja Ram Mohan Roy most famously known as the 'Father of Indian Renaissance' was one of the greatest social reformer of the Indian history.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy has immensely contributed in the social reformation movement. He founded the "Brahmo Samoj', an important movement which aimed to eliminate the social evils prevalent in the Hindu society. It gained a lot of praise and support from different section of the society. The Brahmo Samaj was a social institution based on Brahmoism.
