Given:-

  • Raja ran 300 m around a rectangular field.
  • Length of the field = 30 m
  • Breadth of the field = 20 m

To Find:-

  • How many trips did Raja make

Solution:-

We are given that Raja ran around the field which means we need to find the perimeter of the field.

We know,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth) units.

Hence,

Perimeter of field = 2(30 + 20)

Perimeter = 2 × 50

=> Perimeter of the field = 100 m

It is said that Raja runs 300 m around the field.

Hence, If we divide the distance covered by Raja by thr perimeter of the field we will get the number of trips made by him.

Hence,

Number of trips made by raja = 300/100 = 3

Therefore Raja made 3 trips while running across the field.

Hence, Option (3) 3 is the correct answer.
