Raja scored 76% marks

According to the question if we add Raja's and Seema's marks we will get the total

Hence logically Seema will be having
24%

So (24÷100)×x =480

From this we get the total marks to be 2000.

So Raja scored (76÷100)× 2000

1520

The correct answer is 1520 marks.

Given: Score of raja = 76%.

Marks scored by seema = 480.

To Find: Marks scored by raja.

Solution:

As given in the question, the maximum marks is sum of raja and seema's marks.

Total score = 100%

Raja's score = 76%.

Seema's score = 100-76 = 24%

It means 24% of maximum marks is 480.

Let the total marks = x.

\frac{480}{x} *100=24

x = 2000

Maximum marks = 2000

Raja's marks = Maximum marks - seema's maks

= 2000 - 480

= 1520

Hence, raja's marks is 1520.
