Given, Raja walks 1 1/2 meters in 1 second. How much distance he will walk in 15 minutes?

Solution:

Given,

Raja walks 1 1/2 meters in 1 second.

We know,

1 min = 60 sec,

Thus,

15 min = 15*60

= 900 sec

As for 1 sec

= 1 1/2

= 3/2 meters

Thus,

For 900 sec

= 3/2 * 900

= 2700/2

= 1350 meters

Hence,

Raja walks 1350 meters in 15 min.

Raja walks 1½ meters in 1 second. How much distance will he walk in 15 minutes? ( in m)

Solution:

Distance walked = 1½

= 3/2

=1.5m

Time taken =1 sec

So, its speed is 1.5 m/s

As we know,

Speed = Distance

Time

Now,

Time=15min=900sec (1min=60sec)

So, distance traveled =Speed×Time

= 1.5×900

= 1350m

= 1350×1000mm(1m = 1000mm)

=1350000mm

{ \huge{ \green{ \underline{ \red{ \mathbb{ AnSwEr{!!}}}}}}}

Distance walked = 121

                             = 23

                            = 1.5m

Time taken  = 1 sec

So, its speed is 1.5 m/s

As we know,

Speed = time × Distance

Now,

Time = 15min = 900sec    (1min = 60sec)

So, distance traveled = Speed×Time

                                     = 1.5 × 900

                                     = 1350m

                                     = 1350 × 1000mm (1m = 1000mm)

                                     = 1350000mm
