Let the Cost price of the article is 100 unit

The profit % is 20%

so the profit will be 20 units

which is ₹1700 given in the question

and the selling price of the article will be 100+20 = 120

20 ------- ₹1700

120 -------₹10200

So, the selling price of the article is ₹10200

which is equal to 85% of the Marked price of the article

85% of MP = ₹10200

MP = 10200×100/85

MP = ₹12000

Hence, the marked price of the TV set is ₹12000
