Solutions :-

Given :
Rajan had a rope of length 18.45 m.
He divide the rope into two parts such that the length of the shorter part was 6.65 m.

Let the length of the longer part of the rope be x

Find the length of the longer part of the rope :-

According to the question,

=> x + 6.65 = 18.45
=> x = 18.45 - 6.65 = 11.8

Hence,
The length of the longer part of the rope = 11.8 m

Hey mate,

Given,

Total length = 18.45m

The rope is divided in two parts = long + short

Short length = 6.65 m

We have,

6.65 + long = 18.45

Long = 11.8 m

Hope this helps you out!
