rajan purchased 250 packets of blades at the rate of rupees 8 per packet. He sold 70% of the packets at the rate of ₹ 11 per packet and remaining packet at the rate of ₹ 9 per packet. find his gain per cent.​

Therefore , Total cost = Rs ( 250 × 8 )

= Rs 2000

70% of packets = 70/100 ×250 = 175

Selling price of 175 packets = Rs ( 175 × 11 )

= Rs 1925

Remaining packets = 250 - 175 = 75

Selling price of remaining packets = Rs ( 75 × 9 )

= Rs 675

Therefore , Total selling price = Rs ( 1925 + 675 )

= Rs 2600

Hence , net gain = Total selling price - Total cost price

= Rs ( 2600 - 2000 )

= Rs 600

Now , gain% = Gain / Total cost price × 100

= 600/2000× 100

= 30%

Hence , if gain percent is 30%
