Rajan purchased 250 packets of blades at the rate of rupees 8 per packet. He sold 70% of the packets at the rate of rupees 11 per packet and remaining rate of rupees 9 per packet. Find his gain percent.​

number of packet = 250

cost of each packet is equal to=8

total cost is equal to 250×8 = rupees 2000

70% off packet = 250×70÷100= 175 packet

rate of 175 packet = 11 i× 175 is = rupees 1925

remaining packet is =250 - 175 = 75 packets

rate of 75 packet = 75×9 = rupees 675

total cost = 1925 + 675 = rupees 2600

profit=2600-2000= Rupees 6000

profit% =( profit /CP )× 100

= ( 600 /2000)× 100

= 30%
