according to my view, rajhasthan is very old place in india its religion, mythology, are very different .Physiography (geosystem) played important role in the history and “development” (HDI: Human development Index) of Rajasthan. Western Rajasthan is mostly desert (the Great Indian / Thar Desert), the state is bisected by a NNE-SSW trending Aravalli Hill Range that is bestowed with rich variety of georesources (metals, minerals, building stones) and forest products. Nearly 30% of the state is somewhat favorable for agriculture.
hope it can help you...
