rajat is 10years older than shree. 10 years from now rajat would be twice as old as shree was 10 years before. How old would be shree after 12 years?

ley rajay present age be x years
and shree age be y years
Then ;
x = y+10 ---------------------(i)

x+10=2(y-10)
x+10 = 2y- 20
x = 2y - 30 -----------------(ii)

Now compare the the equation (i) & (ii)
x=x
y+10= 2y-30
y = 40 yrs

Present age of shree = y = 40yrs
shree age after 12 yrs
= 40+12
= 52yrs
