Solution:

Area of square = (side)²

Area of each stamp  = 5² = 25 cm²

Number of  stamps  = 16

Hence area of 16 stamps = 16 * 25  = 400 cm²

area of the sheet = 400 cm²

length of each side of the sheet  =  x cm

Area of sheet  = x²   cm²

x² = 400

=> x = 20

Length of each side of the sheet = 20 cm
