Answer:

The number of bricks required to cover the space is 313 bricks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The length of window = l = 1.5 meters

The breadth of window = b = 2.5 meters

The height of window = h = 20 cm = 0.2 meter

So, The volume of window = l × b × h

or,  volume of window = 1.5 m × 2.5 m × 0.2 m

i.e  volume of window = 0.75 m³

Again

The length of brick = l' = 20 cm = 0.2 meter

The breadth of brick = b' = 12 cm = 0.12 meter

The height of brick = h' = 10 cm = 0.1 meter

So, The volume of brick = l' × b' × h'

or,  volume of brick = 0.2 m × 0.12 m × 0.1 m

i.e  volume of brick = 0.0024 m³

Let The number of bricks required to cover the space = n bricks

So, number of bricks = \dfrac{volume of window}{volume of brick}

or, n = \dfrac{0.75}{0.0024}

 n = 312.5 ≈ 313

So, The number of bricks = n = 313

Hence, The number of bricks required to cover the space is 313 bricks. Answer
