Let us assume that, Rajeeb and Tajmira finish 250 sums in x days .
we know that, according to unitary method,
- M1 * D1 * W2 = M2 * D2 * W1
- M1 = Number of men in first case .
- M2 = Number of men in second case .
- D1 = Number of days in first case .
- D2 = Number of days in second case .
- W1 = Work done in first case .
- W2 = Work done in second case .
since it is given that, each of them does equal number of sums everyday. So, efficiency of each one of them is same .
then,
- M1 = Rajeeb, Debangana, Masum and Tajmira = 4
- M2 = Rajeeb and Tajmira = 2
- D1 = 6 days .
- D2 = x days .
- W1 = 150 sums .
- W2 = 250 sums .
putting all values we get,
→ 4 * 6 * 250 = 2 * x * 150
→ 2 * 6 * 25 = 15x
→ 2 * 6 * 5 = 3x
→ 2 * 2 * 5 = x
→ x = 20 days (Ans.)
Hence , Rajeeb and Tajmira finish 250 sums in 20 days .
