Rajeev gets ₹240 prr month as pocket money. he spends one - third of it on ice cream and the remaning on wafers. find the ratio of the money spent on each item​

1/2 on books= 1/2*240=120

then on remaining= 80+120= 200

so on water = 240-200= 40

Let the number be x

 \frac{1}{3}  +  \frac{1}{2}  + x = 240

L. C. M OF 2 AND 3

 \frac{2}{6}  +  \frac{3}{6}  + x = 240

 \frac{5}{6}  + x = 240

x = 240 -  \frac{5}{6}

x =  \frac{1440}{6}  -  \frac{5}{6}

x =  \frac{1435}{6}

 \frac{1}{3} ratio \:  \frac{1}{2} ratio \:  \frac{1435}{6}
