Let the oranges Rajeev has be x

let the oranges Sanjeev has be y

By given condition Rajeev has three times the number of oranges as Sajeev

x=3y....................(1)

By another condition Together, they have 28 oranges.

x+y=28...............(2)

Substitute the value from eqn (1) of x in eqn (2)

3y+y=28

4y=28

y=28/4

y=7.............{Put in (1)}

x=3(7)

x=21

Rajeev have 21 oranges and Sanjeev has 7 oranges
