Answer:

Reading of Odometer at start= 4,200km

.

Reading of Odometer after the journey=4460km

.

Total travelled =4460-4200

=260km

.

Total Time Taken = 4 hours 20 minute

=260 minute

.

average speed =total distance traveled / Total

time taken

.

average speed = 260/260

= 1 km/h

.

average speed in meter per second =

Distance=260×1000

=2,60,000m

.

Time = 260×60

=15,600 second

.

average speed = total distance / total time taken

=2,60,000/15,600

=16.66 meter per seconds

.
