Answer:

since Rajesh bought 14.5kg potatoes for RS.127.60

so,. the cost for 1 kg potato is 127.60/14.5=RS.8.8

Now, the cost for 8.25kg potatoes is Rs.8.8*8.25=RS.7.26

\implies Potatoes bought by Rajesh = 14.5 Kg

\implies Amount paid by Rajesh = 127.60

 \implies \large{Cost \: of \: 1 \: kg \: of \: potatoes =  \frac{127.60}{14.5} .}

  \implies \large{Cost \: of \: 1 \: kg \: of \: potatoes =  \frac{ \cancel{127.60}}{ \cancel{14.5}} = ₹ 8.8 }

\implies Potatoes bought by Kanu = 8.25 Kg

\implies Amount should be paid by Kanu = 8.25 × 8.8

\implies 8.25 × 8.8 = 72.6

\impliesHence, the amount that should be paid by Kanu is ₹ 72.6.
