CP of 80 artcles = 40000

CP of one article= 40000/80 = Rs.500

CP of 30 articles = 500 x 30 = Rs.15000

Profit from 30 articles = 15000 x 15/100 = Rs.2250

Profit from 80 articles with 35% gain = 40000 x 35/100 = Rs.14000

∴Profit should be from remaining 50 articles = 14000 - 2250 = Rs.11750

profit should be from one remaining article = 11750 ÷ 50 = Rs.235

∴ gain percent = 235/500  x  100 = 47%

Answer:

47%
