Rajesh bought a bottle that was labelled as distilled water he had some doubt about it, he can check whether it's really distilled or not by testing if it conducts electricity or not.

we know that impurities or salt present in water makes it conducting.

if it conducts electricity then it's not pure and distilled water. it contains impurities.

and if the water won't conduct electricity then it's pure and distilled water. it don't contain any impurities or salt.

Answer:

rajesh can connect the circuit. The two copper electrodes connected to the terminal of battery and immersed is distilled water contained in the trough. A torch bulb is connected in circuit. If bulb glow it means it contain dissolved salts and it is not distilled water. If bulb does not glow it means it is a distilled water
