Rajesh finished his work in = 5/12

Slash finished his work in = 1/2

Therefore we will make equivalent denominator

by finding LCM of 2 and 12= 12

Therefore when Rajesh worked 1/2 * 12 = 6 HR

when Akash worked 5/12*12= 5 HR

Therefore Rajesh worked longer

By( 6 - 5) HR = 1 hr

time took by Akash for colouring his picture =1/2 hours

as we know that there are 60 minutes in 1 hour-  

time taken by Rajesh to complete his drawing =60 /denominator*numerator

=60/2*1=30 minutes

time taken by Akash tocomplete his drawing =60 /denominator*numerator

60/12*5 =5*5 =25 minutes

so now we know Rajesh took more time by 5 minutes as 30 -25= 5 minutes
