total money = RS. 9000

money left = RS. 7200

money lost = RS. 9000 - 7200

= RS. 1800

loss percentage = (1800/9000)*100

= 20 %

total money he had=rs.9000
money left=Rs.7200
loss=9000-7200=1800
For 9000, loss is Rs.1800
For Rs.100=x
x=100*1800/9000=180000/9000=180/9=20%
