Suppose the original price of Rajesh is X,
He sold it for 40% gain so he sold it for 1.4X to Vikas.
Now, Vikas sold it for 20% profit over 1.4X so that is 0.2(1.4X) = 0.28X profit. Hence latest price is 1.4X + 0.28X = 1.68X.
We get 1.68X = 2310000
So, X = 2310000/1.68 = 1375000
Your answer is 1375000
