rajesh sold two television sets for ruppes 16000 each. on one he made a gain of 10% and on the other a loss of 5%.find his over all gain or loss

1st case=
Gain=10%
10/100 × 16000
=1600
Profit=16000+1600
=17600
2nd case =
Loss=5%
5/100 × 16000
=800
16000-800
=15200
Profit=17600-15200
=₹2400

one television cost  = C.P = 16000 

he got gain of 10 % = 16000 + 10% * 16000
 
= 16000 + 10/100 * 16000

= 16000+1600 = 17600

S.P = 17600

rajesh got loss of 5% = 16000 - 5/100 * 16000 

= 16000 - 800 

S.P = 15200


overall rajesh got gain of 5% = 800 rupees
