Given:

Rajni bought an old house for 1250000 she spent 27000 on its repair 22400 on its whitewashing and 35000 on furnishing it

To find:

How much should she sell it so that gets a profit of 25/2%?

Solution:

So,

The total amount spent by Rajni after buying an old house is,

= Rs. 12,50,000 + Rs. 27,000 + Rs. 22,400 + Rs. 35,000

= Rs. 13,34,400

Profit % = \frac{25}{2} \% = 12.5%

We know,

\boxed{\bold{Profit\% = \frac{Profit}{C.P.}\times 100 }}

∴ Profit = \frac{Profit\%\:\times C.P.}{100} = \frac{12.5\:\times 1334400}{100} = Rs. 1,66,800

Now,

The S.P. of the house should be,

= [Cost price]  + [Profit]

= Rs. 13,34,400 + Rs. 1,66,800

= Rs. 15,01,200

Thus, Rajni should sell the house for → Rs. 15,01,200.
