Rajput population for Rajasthan: According to 1931 caste census in Rajasthan (Rajputana ) , Rajputs were 6, 33,830 out of total population of 1,17,47,947 in 1931 which is 5.4% . So extrapolating 5.4 % according to 2011 census (6.86 crore), the Rajput population comes out to be 37.04 lakhs out of 6.86 crore.
