let the age of Raju's cousin be x years

therefore, Age of Raju = x - 19 years

after 5 years,

age of Raju = x - 19 + 5 years

= x - 14 years

age of Raju's cousin = x + 5 years

given:

age of Raju / age of Raju's cousin = 2/3

therefore, x-14 / x+5 = 2/3

3(x - 14) = 2 (x + 5)

3x - 42 = 2x + 10

3x - 2x = 10 + 42

x = 52

therefore Raju's present age = 52 - 14 = 38 years

His cousins age = 52 + 5 = 57 years
