HEY MATE!!! ❤❤HERE'S UR ANSWER!!! ❤❤

Copper oxide is an amphoteric substance, which means it can act as an acid or a base. It is non-flammable and insoluble in water.

Melts at just over 1200°C

Boils at around 2000°C

Copper oxide is a base because it will react with acids and neutralise them, but it is notan alkali because it does not dissolve in water. Sodium hydroxide is a base because it will react with acids and neutralise them. It's also an alkali because it dissolves in water.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!!❤❤
