Raju maths teacher gave him a task of identifying the number name. If the number is greater than 0 then he should utter to the teacher as "i am waiting". If the number is less than 0 then he should utter the word as "i am not waiting".

Solution:

All the numbers on the number line whether positive, negative,, rational , irrational number , all these number are real numbers.

As, the number is , R- {0},

R=set of all real numbers excluding zero.

$R_{+}$-{0}=(0,∞]

$R_{-}$-{0}=[-∞,0)

So if A number is between (0,∞]⇒  Raju will utter "i am waiting".

And if number is between [-∞,0)⇒  Raju will utter "i am not waiting".

So, we will not include number zero in the set of real numbers, in the solution set.
