MANU paid Rs 5320
This is the MANU'S cost price of WATCH
= Rs 5320
SONU'S selling price of watch = Rs 5320

Let the MANU'S cost price of watch = Rs X
Loss % = 5 %
Then, X - [(X x 5) / 100] = 5320
(100X - 5X ) / 100 = 5320
95X = 5320 x 100
95X = 532000
X = 532000 / 95
X = 106400 / 19
X = 5600
MANU'S cost price of watch = Rs 5600
RAJU'S selling price of watch = Rs 5600

Let the RAJU'S cost price of watch =
Rs Y
Gain % = 12 %
Then, Y + [ (Y x 12) / 100] = 5600
Y + ( 12Y/ 100) = 5600
(100Y + 12Y) / 100 = 5600
112Y = 560000
Y = 560000 / 112
Y = 280000 / 56
Y = 140000 / 28
Y = 70000 / 14
Y = 10000 / 2
Y = 5000
Therefore, RAJU'S cost price of watch = Rs 5000
