He said his axe fell into the river. the goddess brought a golden axe and asked him whether it was his axe. He replied it was not his. Then the goddess brought a silver axe and asked whether it was his. He again replied no. THen the goddess brought his axe and raju said that it was his axe which fell into the river. He was gifted all the three axes for his honesty.
next day he deliberately threw his axe into the river and the goddess reappeared bringing the golden axe and asked whether it was his axe. Being greedy he replied that it was his. The goddess became angry and took the axes given on the previous day taking his own axe with her.
