Raju went to a painter to get his solid object in the shape of a cylinder with hemispherical ends to be painted. The whole length of the solid was 108 cm and diameters of the hemispherical ends are 36cm each. Painter calculated the cost of painting as Rs. 558 at the rate of 5 paise per sq. cm. But Raju calculated the correct amount and paid this amount. What was the correct amount which Raju has paid? What values of Raju are depicted here?

Given, Diametre of hemispherical ends = 36 cm

So, Radius of hemispherical ends = 36/2 = 18 cm

And, Radius of cylinder = Radius of hemispherical ends = 18 cm

Height of cylinder (h) = 108 - (18+ 18) = 72 cm
