रक्षा-बंधन स्पेशल सवाल
एक व्‍यक्ति अपनी 3 बहनों से मिलने कुछ रकम लेकर घर से निकला।

पहले दिन वो बड़ी बहन के घर गया।

जब वो स्नान करने गया तो बड़ी बहन ने भाई के कपड़ों की जेबों की तलाशी ली। जितनी रकम जेब में थी,उतनी ही रकम बड़ी बहन ने अपने पास से मिलाकर वापस भाई की जेब में रख दी।

विदा लेते समय भाई ने बहन को 2000 रुपए दिए।

अगले दिन भाई मंझली बहन के घर गया।

भाई के स्नान को जाते ही मंझली बहन ने भी तलाशी ली और जेब में जितनी रकम थी उतनी ही अपनी तरफ से मिलाकर भाई की जेब में रख दी।

विदा लेते समय भाई ने बहन को 2000 रुपए दिए।

अगले दिन भाई छोटी बहन के घर गया।

छोटी बहन ने भी जेब की रकम के बराबर रकम भाई की जेब में रख दी।

विदा लेते समय भाई ने छोटी बहन को भी 2000 रुपए दिए।

घर पहुँचने पर भाई की जेब में 5000 रुपए बचे हुए थे।

तो सवाल ये है कि,

तीनों बहनों से मिलने के लिए भाई, कितनी रकम लेकर घर से निकला था ???

➡Let 'x' be the money with him when he went to his 1st sister .

Since his 1st sister kept the same amount that was in his pocket.

The amount which his sister kept in his pocket

= x + x = 2x

The amount after he had given Rs. 200 to his sister him

= (2x - 2000)Rs.

➡Now to the 2nd sister.

Since his 2nd sister kept the same amount that was in his pocket after coming from 1st sisters house.

Amount kept by his second sister in his pocket

= (2x - 2000)

Total money after his sister kept money in his pocket

= (2x-2000)+(2x-2000)

= (4x - 4000)Rs.

Amount after giving 2000 to his sister

= 4x - 4000 - 2000

= (4x - 6000)Rs.

➡Now to the 3rd sister .

Since 3rd sister kept the same amount that was in his pocket after coming from 2nd sister's house.

Amount kept by his sister in his pocket

= (4x - 6000)

Total money after his sister kept money in his pocket

= (4x-6000)+(4x-6000)

= 8x - 12000

Amount after giving 2000 to his sister

= 8x - 12000 - 2000

= 8x - 14000

After coming back from his sisters house he left with Rs. (8x-14000).

✅Given in the question --

After coming back from his sisters house, he left with Rs. 5000..

i.e. 8x - 14000 = 5000

=> 8x = 5000 + 14000

=> 8x = 19000

=> x = 19000 /8

=> 2375 Rs....

Therefore , he had taken Rs. 2375 with him.
