Total Amount = Amount paid by Rakesh +
Amount paid by Sunil

975 = x+x+125
2x = 850
x = 850/2
x = 425

Amount paid by Sunil = x+125 = 425+125 = 550

According to Question,

Total amount paid = ₹ 975

x + (x + 125) = 975

⇒ 2x = 975 - 125
