Given

Rakesh buys a bicycle at Rs.3000.

So Cost Price = 3000;

He sold this bicycle to his friend Mahesh at Rs.2550.

So Selling Price = 2550

Here Cost Price is greater than Selling Price..so Loss exists.....

We know that...

Loss. = Cost Price - Selling Price

Loss = 2550- 3000

Loss= 450

We know that...

loss Percentage

=( loss /Cost Price )×100

=( 450/3000)×100

=15%

So loss = 450 , loss Percentage= 15%
