Rakesh credits 15% of his salary in fixed deposit account and spends 30% of the remainder amount on groceries. If the cash in hand is Rs. 2380, what is his salary?

Let salary be X
Than amount deposited is 15X/100.
Amount spend on groceries is 51X/200.
Than by equating
(85X/100)-(51X/200)=2380
X=4000
