Let the no. ofcurrency note of 10₹ be x
Let the no. of currency note of 5₹ be y
therefore x+y= 20
The total value is 120₹
Therefore 10x+5y=120
Take 5 common
:.2x+y=24
By Comparing both the equations
x+y=20
2x+y=24
:.x=4
:.y=20-x=16
