Spoiled apples and apples consumed = 1kg 879g + 10kg 76g

= 11 kg 955 g

Apples were left = 20kg - 11 kg 955 g

=8kg 45 g

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total weight of apples = 20kg

1kg = 1000g

20kg=20x1000=20000g

Weight of spoilt apples=1kg 879g = 1000g + 879g= 1879g

Weight of apples consumed=10kg 76g= (10x1000)g + 76g= 10000g+76g=10076g

Weight of apples left= Total weight of apples - Weight of spoilt apples - Weight of apples consumed = 20000g - 1879g - 10076g = 8045g = 8kg 45g

Therefore, 8kg 45g apples were left.
