Rakhee,s school bus took 30 minutes to reach the school, after she boarded it. If the bus moved continuously with the speed of 25 km/hr , calculate the distance between Rakhee,s school and home

.

.

.

the speed of the bus is=25 km/hr which means it travels 25 km in every 1 hour

the time taken by the bus to reach the school=30minutes

we need to find the distance of the school and rakhees home,

distance = speed (km/min)*time(min)

distance = 25*30/60(here we have taken 60 as min  because that is=to 1 hour)

distance=25/2 km

distance=14.5 km  ie. 14 km and 500m

so the distance between the school and rakhees home is 14 km and 500 m
