Rakhi 'so mother is four times as old as Rakhi. After 5 years , her mother will be three times as old as she will be then. Find their present afes

Lets Rakhi's age be x years
Rakhi's mother's age = 4x years
Age of Rakhi after 5 years = (x + 5)
Age of Rakhi's mother after 5 years = (4x + 5) years
Given (4x + 5) = 3(x + 5)
4x + 5 = 3x + 15
x = 10
Hence Rakhi's age = 10 years
Rakhi's mother's age = 4(10) = 40 years
