He ended the 1910, 1911 and 1912 seasons ranked #1 in the world at 200m and was ranked first globally at 100m following the 1912 campaign. Craig returned to the U.S. Olympic Team 36 years following his 1912 glory in Stockholm as a reserve for the U.S. Yachting Team at the 1948 Games in London.
