Ram & Shyam like to play football during lunch break in school. Everyday, they eat their food hurriedly and go to play in the school ground. One of their friends John was concerned about the wrong habits of his friends and one day he explained to them the possible consequences.Answer the following questions based on the above information. (i) What are the possible consequences of the above mentioned habits? (ii) Recommend corrective measures in the above case.

In above situation happened because when Ram & Shyam was hurriedly eating food then food might be entered into the windpipe instead of food pipe so some blockage might  occur in the wind pipe so they won't be able to take breathe properly.

They might be facing breathing problem. That’s why they can  start coughing to take breath properly through the windpipe. This type of situation occurs when some blockage occur in front of the windpipe.

Also eating the food hurriedly, it might  not be converted into a proper rounded mass or bolus of food. Thus a large mass of food would have entered the wind pipe as the oesophagus and the wind pipe have a common passage. Thus this can lead to  violent coughing process to remove the food particles stuck to the wind pipe.
