Ram and Leela were looking at the price of a car. The price of the car was 50% more than the amount with Ram, and separately, the same price was 20% more than the amount with Leela. Then by what percent is the amount with Ram less than Leela?

Options :
i) 25, ii) 20, iii) 30, iv) 50

Suppose price of car is Rs x.

Then let Ram has Rs y,

Given that,

x=y+50% of y= 3/2y

Now let Leela has Rs z.

Given that,

x=z+20% of z= 6/5z

Now y=2/3x and z=5/6x

%less= (z-y) / z  *100

1/6x*6/5x  *100= 20% lesser than Leela.

Option ii)  is correct.
