Let Ram have Rs. x & Mohan have Rs. y.

Then by the first condition,

2(x−30)=y+30

⇒y=2x−90

Again, by the second condition,

3(y−10)=x+10

⇒3y=x+40

Substituting eq(i) in eq(ii),

3(2x−90)=x+40.

⇒5x=310

⇒x=Rs.62

Putting x=62 in (i),

y=2x−90

⇒y=2×62−90=Rs.34

i.e. Ram has Rs.62 and Mohan has Rs.34
