Ram and Shyam were performing an experiment. They connected a bulb via A, conducting wire, battery and a key. Later on, they replaced A with B. A and B are the allotropes of an element of group 14. When they inserted the key, it was observed that in the first case, the bulb did not glow but in the second case the bulb glowed. Identify A and B. Explain this difference on the basis of their structure
