Ram bought second hand scooter for ₹2,700. He spent ₹100 on transportation and ₹200 on repair. He was able to sell it for ₹3,240. Find his profit or loss percent.

Answer:

cost of second hand scooter = 2700

Additional charges = 200+100 = 300

Total c.p =2700+300 = 3000

S.P of scooter = 3240

profit = s.p-c.p = 3240-3000 = 240

Profit% = profit/cp*100 = 240/3000*100=8%
