Given

Discount =25%

Selling price (ram sell it) =₹660

Profit =10%

Cp of fan for ram =selling price - 10% of cp

660-10% of cp =cp

If he got 10% profit then selling price =100+10%

=110%

Then

110%=660

1%=660/110

1%=6

Cp=100%

Cp=100x6=600

Or u can use direct this formula

Cp=spx100/(100+profit)

Cp=660x100/(100+10)

Cp=660x100/110

Cp=6x100=600

Now at the time of buying that ram got discount of 25%

So

Mrp=cpx100/(100-discount)

Mrp=600x100/(100-25)

Mrp=600x100/75

Mrp=₹800
