Selling price (ram sell it) =₹660
Profit =10%
Cp of fan for ram =selling price - 10% of cp
660-10% of cp =cp
If he got 10% profit then selling price =100+10%
=110%
Then
110%=660
1%=660/110
1%=6
Cp=100%
Cp=100x6=600
Or u can use direct this formula
Cp=spx100/(100+profit)
Cp=660x100/(100+10)
Cp=660x100/110
Cp=6x100=600
Now at the time of buying that ram got discount of 25%
So
Mrp=cpx100/(100-discount)
Mrp=600x100/(100-25)
Mrp=600x100/75
Mrp=₹800
