Answer:

if the answer is helpful then please mark me has brainlist

Step-by-step explanation:

CP OF HOUSE=300000

SPEND ON ITS REPAIR=65000

TOTAL CP=300000+65000

=365000

SP=325000

LOSS=CP-SP

=365000-325000

=40000

LOSS%=LOSS×100/CP

=40000×100/365000

=10.9%

THEREFORE LOSS%=10.9%

GIVEN :-

  • CP of old house = Rs. 300000
  • SP of old house = Rs. 450000

TO FIND :-

  • The profit or loss %.

SOLUTION :-

In the question it is given that,

⇒ Overhead expenses = 20 % of 300000

⇒ Overhead expenses = 20/100 × 300000

⇒ Overhead expenses = 20 × 3000

⇒ Overhead expenses = Rs. 60000

Now as we know that,

⇢ Actual CP = CP + Overhead expenses.

⇢ Actual CP = 300000 + 60000

Actual CP = Rs. 360000

Now , we observed that,

SP > Actual CP

⇒ Profit = SP - Actual CP

⇒ Profit = 450000 - 360000

⇒ Profit = Rs. 90000

Now we have to find the Profit percent.

⇒ Profit % = Profit/Actual CP × 100 %

⇒ Profit % = 90000/360000 × 100 %

⇒ Profit % = 9/36 × 100 %

⇒ Profit % = 100/4 %

⇒ Profit % = 25 %

Hence the required profit percentages is 25 %.
