ram can do a work in 60 days and the same work sohan can do in 40 days .If both of them work together ,then in how many days will the work be over [the ans is 24 but i don't know the procedure to reach this ans .............plz can some intelligent guy help]

1/60+1/40 = 40+60/2400= 100/2400= 1/24 and 24 is the right answer
