Answer:

So Ram can do 2/3 = 0,67 of the work in 9 days - I hope this is a correct interruption of the question

so Ram can finish the work alone in 9/(2/3) = 13,5 days

when Mohan joins Ram is 0,67 complete and they work an extra 6 days. In 6 days Ram does (6/13,5) = 0,44 of the work. But he would have completed the work in full and have even done more than required if he worked 6 days. So this means that Mohan is actually delaying Ram.

in 6 days they complete 0,33 of the work however in 6 days Ram does (6/13,5) = 0,44 of the work. This means that Mohan undoes 0,11 of the work in 6 days. There it will take him 6/0,11 = 54 days to completely undo the work.

Ram is 54/13,5 = 4 times inversely as efficient as Mohan

let Mohans days = x

so

6 ( -0,25 + 1) = x

x = 18 days But that’s for only 0,33 of the work

18/0,33 = 54 days for Mohan to reverse

   mark this as correct
