Ram covers a distance of 100 km with the variable speed during the first half of his journey his speed was 20 km/h during the rest of his journey his speed was 40 km/h.calculate the average speed of Ram during the whole course of his motion.​

Given Distance s = 100

V1 = 20km/hr

V2 = 40 km/hr

during first half

t1 = S1/V1

= 50/20

t1 = 2.5 sec

Second half

t2 = S2/V2

= 50/40

= 1.25 sec

Avg speed = (S1 + S2 )/(t1 + t2)

= (50 + 50)/(2.5 + 1.25)

= 100/3.75

= 26.67 m/s
